I suppose I excel in cooking. I love anything that has to do with cooking. I can make a delicious meal without much thought. After fifty-four years of marriage, I have experience on my side. Now things just seem to fall together. I love entertaining family and friends. An invitation always includes reminder to bring a container if you want to take food home. We rarely eat out because home-cooked meals are so much better. The only exception is seafood. I prefer to eat out for seafood. If you are coming for a meal at my house, be sure to bring a container for take home.

That’s so kind of you! I’ll definitely bring a bigger one so I can enjoy it multiple times. I’m from India, so hopefully, I’ll get to visit your home soon. I cook frequently, and my kitchen feels like a small laboratory where I experiment with ingredients to create new and delicious dishes. Once you try my cooking, I’m sure you’ll become a fan! If you ever plan to visit India, please come by my place. I cook all kinds of dishes—vegetarian and non-vegetarian, as well as Indian, Chinese, Arabic, and Thai.

I used to work with Indian doctors. I loved to share their traditional foods!

I’m not a great cook ~ but even to me most restaurant food doesn’t seem like food any more. Has it changed, or are we pickier?

I think they use lower quality ingredients and quick preparation. I use good butter, fresh eggs, premium vanilla, fresh spices, quality meat, chicken, fish. I take my time and taste as I cook. I cook in cast iron, stainless steel, and glass. I start in in day on my beans and meat I marinate and season well.

WAY better than any restaurant. You’re not trying to make any profit but good health and love.

And I am often talking about the time in Shreveport and our trips to Dallas, and the plantation, the picnic, the spiders that crossed our way in the park… so much. And it was special for me to see the house you grew up. Thank you for that all 💖

If anything, it’s Lyme disease and Mental Illness.

That’s a rough thing to be an authority on. My daughter had Lyme Disease and has had life-long problems. I believe it goes hand in glove with mental illness, too.

Lyme almost killed me and like your daughter I’ve had many issues while in remission.

I wish you could, too! Be sure to bring a take out container. In one sense, you are at my house everyday.
