What brands do you associate with?
I have no interest in fashion or brands. I have no designer purses, shoes, or clothes. In fact, my wardrobe has one major requirement. Items must be made of cotton and have pockets, since I can’t be bothered with a purse.
However, on reflection , I realize I am loyal to one brand. I prefer Gold Medal Self-Rising Flour. It gives consistent results. Does that count?
I’m with you re the brands.. I don’t support any brands, but I do love my cotton or bamboo clothing… all my clothing must be either and most of my clothing is sourced from Irish suppliers… I refuse to buy from amazon shein etc.

That’s fascinating. I agree with you on the cotton and bamboo. I buy only bamboo bed linens. It’s so cool and comfortable. I have bamboo flooring in my house.

O wow, bamboo flooring, that’s something I’ve not seen here. I must keep an eye out for when our time comes to re-do any floors.

It is beautiful. We should all be using bamboo.

I don’t buy or own any high priced brands, just not who I am, if I sat and thought about it for while I might come up with a brand I am loyal to but of the top of my head nothing come to mind

Haha, same over here, I don’t care about brands. Things need to work for me and I need to like them while they are still affordable.

Even the word ‘brand’ in the modern day context drives me nuts! Once again we are on the same page….

Me three! I do seriously hate tags that I cut every one of them off of anything I plan to wear.

An interesting question, Beth, like you I’m fairly frugal when it comes to purchasing any one brand over another.
Where I do appreciate the fashion sense in others, growing up on a family farm my parents instilled in us to make practical choices instead of spending lavishly. Don’t get me wrong, we were encouraged to “splurge” every now and then, but somehow I’ve remained fairly grounded in making practical choices in adulthood. If a coat keeps me warm in the Winter I’m not concerned about what brand it may be.

I agree totally. I want comfortable, utilitarian stuff. I could reach in my closet any time and any top would match any pants or skirt. Easy care is very important.
