Odd Socks Day
While it used to be embarrassing to be caught wearing two different socks that don’t match, now it has become commonplace and is even a fun fashion trend! In fact, many companies are now selling socks in packages where the pairs don’t even match.
Odd Socks Day celebrates not only the freedom to wear whatever kind of socks people want, but it also makes a statement about embracing differences and being kind to people instead of bullying them for being unique.
Remember when any pants ending at our ankles or above were derisively called “high water pants”?… Have you SEEN this year’s fashion in trousers???

Oh I hate high water pants. I don’t care what the style is. They just don’t look right.

The bottoms reach to about two inches above everybody’s sock line, and they have ~ get this ~ a little FLARE toward the bottom… 😆

Most of my girl friends don’t wear socks. I love socks! I wear them all year round. I am not a sandals kind of person. I recently culled all the worn socks from my sock drawer and need to replenish! I might look for some of those unmatched socks.

My mother has two drawers stuffed with socks and won’t wear them. I can send them to you.

LOL! Thank you, but I suggest you donate them. I will admit, I’m a bit of a sock snob. I want soft, but not too soft. I like cute, girly socks – even with ruffles. The design must appeal to me. It’s absurd how much time I spend looking at socks and trying to make up my mind.

I need to. They fill two dresser drawers. She will never wear them all! Somebody needs them.

Nothing wrong with odd socks but it is good that people no longer feel they need to hide their odd socks
