What are your two favorite things to wear?
I don’t even have to think about this one. I wear only cotton, the older and softer the better. My favorite would be a midi length cotton dress for working in the yard. It matters not if I get it wet or muddy because it dries quickly. When I’m done, I shower and don its twin. In cooler weather, I wear cotton jeans and tops. All my tops match all my jeans, so I don’t have to make a decision. The older my clothes, the better.

I live in my jeans and black top year round. Cotton clothes get better with age.

There is nothing better. My absolute favorite is an old denim loose sleeveless dress that is so faded the color is indistinct. It has washed thin in several places.

I prefer cotton due to how much I can sweet during the day at the moment I don’t have a favourite outfit, I wear shorts and at the moment a Christmas tee shirt, when Christmas is done I will go back to normal tee shirts, most of which are sleeveless again due to how much I can sweat during the day.

You look lovely out there in that golden field of grain! ;)
You are so down to earth. I’m not surprised you wear cotton and dresses. I’m a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal. I might try a sundress next summer.

You know that’s not me.sundresses are great in Louisiana heat. Jeans are too hot over 90 degrees for me!

Whatever I am wearing must be comfortable. I wear a lot of black. because I don’t have to think about it…..and add a brightly coloured scarf…..I find that Sketchers are the most comfortable shoes…..

Again, we match. I want some of those skechers you step into. Black is not best for me. I love it but I have a white, furry lapdog! Shedding.

I, too, prefer cotton..and my clothes only get thrown away when they are in tatters or if I get a shot of a rear view and go into shock!!!

I have embarrassed myself a time or two. A thin spot became a hole after I left home.

I love cotton too! And the older the better….that’s why I love my brushed flannels. I do love wool socks, however! Happy Saturday!!

Your love for cotton and simplicity is so refreshing! It’s wonderful how you embrace comfort and practicality while staying true to what you love. The idea of older, softer clothes being better is so relatable – it adds a sense of nostalgia and coziness. Thank you for sharing this heartfelt perspective!
