Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?
I have been fortunate to be loved by family and friends but purest and sweetest love I’ve ever experienced is the wondrous love of my little ones seeking me out when they first awakened. I’d hear their little feet padding along as they dragged their blankets along looking for Mommy. We’d sit, wrapped together, enjoying the warmth. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be able to reach back and relive that treasured moment?

Very sweet and great memories. Would you believe I don’t recall having this. I remember waking the boy and hauling him off to daycare so I could go to work. :)

I was fortunate to stay home 9 years. We were poor as church mice but I am glad of that time. We had a battered car, lived in a cracker box rent house and dressed the kids in Goodwill clothes. One time I got two paier of Goodwill toddler pjs for ten cents a pair. Both kids wore them two years each. That was a great deal

Oh, we shopped Goodwills and thrift shops! Still love them to this day. Yes, it was so nice you could be home with your babies.

Reading this made me think of when my grandson Blain was a toddler and he would get excited and run to me calling out “my nana” over and over and I would say “my Blain” over and over, I now have those words “My Blain” tattooed on my back.

I agree so much, Linda. I would relive those precious moments every day. However, I am happy the kids have grown into the people they are today. Still, those moments were so filled with a very special closeness.
