A strawberry patch sits in the middle of my flowerbed. I leave the luscious strawberries for the critters. I love it when this little guy comes to call.

I have one flowerbed with dewberries that get the full attention of birds and squirrels. They also love my mulberry tree.

Beautiful garden! I love all the ways you’ve contrived to provide for all the critters. The photo of the turtle is stellar!

I just love it when he comes by. The lizards don’t mind me at all.

I have a large hibiscus bush but a turtle would have to travel a long way to find our house.

I worked with a woman who created a turtle habitat in her yard. She got leftover flowers from florists. He turtles came when called. I was so surprised.

They are very smart but I would never have thought about making a habitat for them. I probably would if turtles were around me.

A box turtle frequented our yard when the kids were little. He was
recognizable</recognizably by a scar on his shell. They kids played with him for years.

We can’t live without ’em, either, much as some would like to.
