Just love these photos , I have seen similar photos taken in rural Ireland in the 50’s , esp when my mom was visiting her family after being away for awhile , she would have nice clothes on and standing next to my grand parents and her siblings you just knew she had been away for awhile , she used to tell me that her sisters would raid her suitcase as soon as she arrived eager to see her posh clothes. I also remember my grandfather having a cart pulled by a donkey would you believe as kids on holidays from the city we used to relish these happy days so much , it was lovely to look at your photos and remember some of these times.
