My 18 month old daughter seeing a small aeroplanes in a museum with its wings folded (or broken in her view) stated, with great certainty, “Nenna did it!” (Nenna being her two and half-year-old sister).

Ah, I know of a similar instance, but the excuse was that if he hadn’t ducked out of the way, the stone would have hit him and not broken the window. :)
