My new hobby of soap-making is getting out of hand, so I am offering them for purchase. They are superfatted with coconut, almond, and olive oil, as well as shea butter. I use them for face, body, and shampoo. The scents are natural and include triple orange with dried orange rind for exfoliant, cedar with coffee for exfoliant (removes garlic and onion smells from your hands, patchouli, fennel and rosemary, and the creamiest of all, goat milk vanilla. I am offering them for purchase and include samples with every order. Will gladly craft custom scents. I use natural scents from my garden as much as possible.
If you want to order, email me Lbeth1950@hotmail.com

Lol, good thing I took a second look–my eyes are malfunctioning (comes with age) and I thought it said Homemade SOUP. I finally got my new blog going http://scoutsthoughts.wordpress.com/ and go by Scout (needing anonymity). Taking a while to get my sea legs back. ~mandy

Count me in! I’m still traveling, on my way back now. Will email you when back home, hope you ship to Australia!

I would love too. Will have to check shipping. May just have to give recipe!

Or I’ll get you to ship it to a friend of mine in US before I head over next time…

That would be wonderful! Where is your friend?

He lives in Hawaii but we have other friends in Texas, Colorado and Washington DC. If shipping there is cheaper for you, I can arrange something with them. I’ll let you know when we travel to States next, okay? Or you could figure out if shipping to AUS is possible (I think it is for soap) and how much it is. Of course happy to pay for it.

I ordered some handmade soaps from another blogger I follow in New Zealand. Loved them but the freight is costly. Loved the soaps but not as shampoo. I’ll give it some thought.

Linda,
Do you mail them out of the US too and do you have shampoos and conditioners too ?

I haven’t mailed outside U.S. I use my soap as shampoo. Where are you? I’ll get back to you.

I will have to talk to my wife about this. She used to also do homemade soaps and I loved using them. I miss not having them around the house.
Just an idea: The one I liked the best is where she had a loofah in it and, as you used the soap, the loofah becomes more exposed and scrubs/washes at the same time.

I have a fennel scent with loofah. My husband loves it. Opens up his head in shower.

Yeah ! I can offer a testimonial…these soaps are amazing. I had some a few months back, and rationed them (tiny pieces) until the new shipment arrived this week. Best I’ve ever had. I got through the driest months of the year with no dry skin issues.☺☺☺
Super moist, and amazingly fragrant. Another bonus…my hair has never been softer. Not sure I could ever go back to store-bought shampoo.
I’ll be a return customer. 💖

Uhm, it’s my mom’s favorite things…. but I think I’m becoming like her. I’m like, Mom, look at this, from Italy. ” We bought a lot , and I mean , a lot when we visited a scent/perfume/soap factory in France. And also in the Philippines when we were there. Filipinos are into natural homemade soaps.

I have never used homemade soap before. They look like different types of candy bars. Like chocolate, caramel, etc. Is it really difficult to make homemade soaps?

It ties up a couple of hours. You have to mix the lye, melt the fats, add scent and then mix until it reaches proper stage to set .
