  1. Thanks for the reblog. This is what a healthy democracy looks like. It’s not partisans twisting facts to suit their agenda, it’s citizens holding their reps accountable. If Trump has restored a sense of civic responsibility to our people he will have done us a service.

      • I don’t think that any of us understood how far the Russians got in their attack on our system. The sad truth is that we are at war. It doesn’t feel like war because our enemy’s primary weapon against us is old grievances and lingering divisions from the unresolved issues surrounding the American Civil War.
        If we are to survive this attack and win this war we will have to come together as Americans, understands how crazy it is to demonize each other for having different opinions, and tune out the voices of cynicism who want us to think American Democracy is ‘just another’ corrupt system. I think we can do it.
