That’s why I wear contacts, it is easy to carry spares and they work nicely. I only use glasses in the evening at home. ☺☺

Ha! Hopeyou get that fixed soon. I wear only one contact so it wouldn’t bother me much vision-wise. I don’t think it will catch on as a fashion statement though! ~Elle

Got glasses in one day at LensCrafters. They are progressive trifocals with tradition lenses. I was ecstatic. Don’t forget your wallet if you go there.

Wow. Personally, I HATE glasses (wear them myself), because they always seem to break at the worst possible moment. And the sturdy ones are always so freakin’ ugly….. Good luck. I hope nothing bad happened to YOU…

Need to get spare pair but these were $494. Not quite in mood to get a second. These are really sturdy, though.

Mine are in the same range, but I got a spare under $100, just to tie me over until the good pair is fixed.

Do they work ok except for reading?

They are tri-focal, not just for reading; they are made to my prescription. Got an $8 frame in Walmart + 80 for tinted lenses – I like to look artthe world through rose-tinted lenses.
