I sometimes get a thank you for your input card; if I send a letter, a get a response, probably composed by an aid. Our Democrats reps must have a base as active and as loud as trump’s base is, and we must remember Russian operatives amplify trump’s base: military personnel trained to pass as American on social media. So millions of us must vote as if our lives and the lives of our children depend on it, that’s the only way we can beat the Trump-Putin GOP.

I’m sorry you had that awful experience. It should be obvious though that someone could describe a slightly similar experience to yours and be mistaken or lying. That’s no reason for you to disbelieve her, but it is a reason why people making judgments affecting other people’s lives should not base their decisions on inconsistent and uncorroborated testimony from one person.
