Design a City?

How would you design the city of the future?

Ha! Ha! This prompt is so far outside the realm of possibility I can’t even craft a response.

  1. I like Dawna’s thoughts on this…. I would add amongst the trees and beautiful flowers plenty of attractive and comfortable benches for people to sit and ponder… spring fed water fountains to drink from and plants that encourage birds, bees and butterflies. It’s now time to dream about such a place:)

  3. I would design it with less technology and more outdoor open spaces surrounded by nature, waterfalls, mountains, lakes, streams and an abundance of fruit trees, fruits and vegetables. Sort of like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, except with sustainable foods.

  4. Admire your honesty amid a great sense of humor.

    I, too, cannot imagine what an ideal design of a future city would look like, but hopefully it encompasses more than a few coffee shops with rich aroma coffee beans, and a bookshelf filled with an array of genres to choose from.
