I get excited every year when I visit my oldest and dearest friend in Virginia. We worked together for many years and had the kind of relationship that never wavered. She had my back just as I had hers. All these years later, if I really need comfort, she’s the one I call. My heart lifts when her name pops up on my phone. That time is coming again! I am planning my fall trip!

Special friendships are wonderful and to be cherished. I have three cherished friends from American coming here towards the end of October and so I am already getting excited:)X

Oh, you will hear. We will giggle, watch movies, drink wine on her bird-busy patio, and cook. I love to cook. We will fill her freezer with Christmas cookie dough Wish you could be there! Oh, we plan to make lots of apple and pumpkin butter for her Christmas gifts!

It is beautiful. They live within a mile of the beach. The mountains aren’t too far away.
