Crochet Projects

Crocheted sweater
Crocheted basket full of crocheted afghans
Crocheted socks
Pink sweater I made my granddaughter. She loved it!
You can see my dog loves this bright, striped afghan.
I have made many of these crocheted baskets for gifts.

You can crochet anything you can knit. You don’t have to content yourself with afghans.

  1. A crochet needle is actually a tiny gypsy loom. You can make pieces of cloth bigger than those any household loom can make with just one of these tiny hooked bars. Among the survival supplies in my minivan home are a selection of them.

  2. What an amazing art form and skill set. Two thumbs up.

Many moons ago, when I was a case-manager for homeless individuals and families, there was a local church program that created mittens, scarfs, etc. for me to distribute to the homeless, especially during harsh winter conditions…talk about using one’s gifts/talent for the greater good. Yay!

I love to crochet! I started doing it as a tool to overcome stress and depression. I am mostly doing dolls and animals. It is so satisfying to look at my final projects. 😁
