If you had to give up one word that you use regularly, what would it be?
Actually, the word I should give up is, actually. I have actually developed of actually overuse it. Most of the time, I actually use it for emphasis that is actually unnecessary. Perhaps this exercise will make me sensitive to its overuse. Actually, I already feel silly.
So, what are you actually trying to say? 😆

The word I use far too much when going about my day begins with F, but I have to restrain myself when writing my stories as you can’t drop F-bombs in kids’ books!

Actually, your post was great. Well, it was thought provoke and funny. And it for me thinking, which is a great way to start the day. And when I think about your great question, the one word that I’ve often thought I abuse is the word ‘great’. Everything isn’t really as great as I think it is, so I need to go to my thesaurus for a synonym. Thanks for making me think about this. It was a great…..er…stupendous question.

I ‘m glad I made you think. I’m always grateful when I am spurred to think. It gets me going for the day. I have embarrassed myself a few times, overusing a word. I like simplistic language but try to avoid the stale. Thanks for commenting and stirring my brain a bit.

I don’t even want to say the word, it’s a bad one and I have to talk to God everytime I use it. I have no idea why it jumps out of nowhere sometimes but I don’t same it intentionally. Although I’m accountable. Fuck is the next word I could slow down on, I say it when I’m extremely frustrated or when I hurt myself. I’m a good person at heart but my mouth can get nasty. :(

Mine losing connection when I very angry or in pain. No excuse, just the fact. My Granny only used the word shit, no other curse words. Gramps early cursed but my father was the worst. At least I know when I’m using them and when to ask for streght and forgiveness.

I never cursed till after I got married. Maybe I thought that gave me sufficient reason. I don’t like that about myself.
