I’ve always wondered what it was like to have a warm, loving father. My dad was a bear. He behaved as though he despised him s two older girls. He wasn’t as mean to the younger two but girls and women were suspposed to keep quiet and wait on men.

That is so sad, I’m sorry. My daddy wasn’t in my life for the majority of it. My mother took me away when I was 10 and I didn’t find him again until I was 45. He had his faults for sure, but when I found him, it’s like he had always been there. I sure do miss him. Every day I miss him.

I’m so glad you have a wonderful mother. Mine hasn’t spoken to me in over 8 years. Once she got remarried, I became a daily reminder of my dad. I hold no ill feelings towards her. I hope she’s happy in her life and doing well.

I held so much resentment and anger towards her for way too long and the only person it hurt was me. I had no choice but to let go and let God, otherwise, I felt my journey to doing His will was being hindered. Hugs to you my dear friend.
