What does it mean to be a kid at heart?
A kid at heart feels joy at the quirkiness of life even if incapable of acting like a child. They are not jaded. They are still awed by the miracle of sunrise and sunset. Every newborn brings promise. A kid at heart appreciates fun, love, and life. A kid at heart is vibrant.

I kid at heart is free to express himself without fear of judgement, they dont care about what other people say, and they are too innocent to know the social rules and just blurt out their thoughts. You’ve gotta love their honesty.

Ah, you found so many good atributes. I think, a kid heart is always in the moment, enjoying the moment or at least feeling the moment in the moment.

I feel like a kid at heart but at times my body likes to remind me how old I am, sadly my body often thinks I am 20yrs older then I am

I’m jaded now, but I can have moments to joy joy, they just don’t last long. My loss.

I never have the moments of heart- racing joy I had as a little kid but my disappointments aren’t as deep. Now I have general contentment. I still remember the feeling of being overjoyed and appreciate seeing it in others. All children have major highs and lows. I have never felt disappointment like I did when we were promised to go to circus and daddy just dallied around and didn’t come home in time. I‘v never been that hurt. His promise meant nothing to him.

I can get enjoyment from watching others but it’s not the same as feeling deep joy in your own heart. I know all about disappointments, my mother was a total let down.
