You are a nurse. Your elderly aunt calls to invite you to her only daughter’s wedding. She has an additional request. She wants to stay with you while her daughter goes on a one week honeymoon. She is a brittle diabetic. incontinent and needs insulin injections and blood sugar checks twice daily. She has no one else to ask. Finish the story.

  1. Of course you an stay aunty but you know I work and I have my dog, so I will not be home during the day. Oh dear says aunty I forgot about your dog, I so wanted to stay with you but I am allergic to dogs. I will ask your brother and see if I can stay with him he doesn’t have a dog.

    She tells her aunt that she would love to attend the wedding and will make sure she’s off that day. The aunt asked what about staying with you while they are on their honeymoon. As bad as she felt about her predicament she would not be able to care for her and work her schedule. Instead of telling her aunt no, she said she would arrange care for the times she couldn’t be there. She calls all her sisters and has them on the schedule to care for her aunt when she’s working. She also paid a nurse to stop by once a day to make sure she’s doing ok. After taking all the decor below the waist and putting plastic on the rest, she could now plastic coat the mattress which will help in the daily clean up.
