Yes, with the encouragement of my late father in the mid-70’s, I joined the Army and served overseas in what was then West Germany. Received an Honorable Discharge at the completion of my service stint and was also awarded the Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service Award as well. Lest we forget you nurses are All-American heroes as well, so we also thank you for your service in caring for the needs of those entrusted in your care over the years. Happy Monday to you & yours, Beth, as always please give your adorable furry rescue “Izzy” a hug and a few pats from me. Your family is Awesome for opening your warm, safe and caring home to him.
