What are your family’s top 3 favorite meals?
My family’s favorite meal was always roast beef in gravy with potatoes. If they didn’t polish it off at dinner, the kids cleaned up the leftovers for breakfast. Home fried chicken with mashed potatoes was always welcomed cordially. Another thing they loved was to come in from school and find soup simmering in the crockpot. They’d dive right in and have dinner then and there. Should they be patient enough to wait, they could have cornbread with it. I left soup going in the crockpot a lot, knowing the kids were always ravenous when they got off the bus.

Roast beef, fried chicken – yum. The soup? Not so much. Oh, I love homemade soup, but my mother never made any.
Top three when I had a household. Spaghetti. Spaghetti. Spaghetti.

When my girls were little they loved my noodle mince which is a mince strew with 2 minute noodle broken up and added to it, they also like my sausages in gravy with mash potato I would cook the snags and cut them up and add them to some gravy and serve it with mash and the last on was my slow cooker casserole with tin baby potatoes.

I like all the above, granny made an outstanding roast with potatoes and carrots. Everyone new the carrots were mine.
