Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?
When I’m writing, I spend more time thinking about the past. That’s where most of my stories originate. I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about the future. I do what I need to ensure the best future but I don’t have a lot of control over what comes.
I love your stories of your past and your childhood. Like you, I think a lot about the past. But I’ve really learned to savor each hour and the present. I’m getting more used to writing about my current life. Past memories, even the bad ones, teach me. So I think about the good ones and how they shaped me–and even how the bad ones have shaped me. I like to think about the good memories yet to come! Happy Sunday, dear friend. You’re a blessing!

You are kind. I am learning to include the bad with the good. We are all flawed people and don’t need to hide reality. Like you said, it makes us who we are.

The pass of course, thinking about good times and not so good times, one can only try to imagine what the future would be like since it hasn’t happened yet

I tend to think of the past more than the future too.
