What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?
Like most, I would only like to live a very long life If I were able to take care of myself. I don’t want to be a burden to anyone.

I completely agree, Linda. I also honor my mom for already having plans ready when she cannot take care for herself anymore, that I don’t have to decide “what she wants” or “where she wants to be”.

Your mother is smart. I will do the same. Mother really loves not having any responsibility for her home.

It must be a very liberating feeling for her (and for you too). I am so glad you found this solution for her which she enjoys so much now.

Me, too. It costs less than maintaining her home, too. She’s gained 7 pounds, too. She had lost 25 before going in even though I took her food a lot. It just went bad in her fridge.
