When I was a young child, my parents rented a an old cabin on a lake for a few days. It was a dream time. We all basked in the sun, fishing, picnicking, and playing on the beach. Most wondrous of all, the whole family slept in beds on the screened-in front porch with a view of the reflection of the full moon on the lake. I drifted in and out of slumber to the music of my parents in contented conversation. Those were precious times. I’d love to have that again.

My dream home has changed over time from large places to smaller places from in a city to being on my own private island but one thing that stays the same I always have my family around living within walking distance from my home.

Beautiful! I’m a log cabin by the lake/river kind of girl. I miss living in my RV (my tiny life was beautiful).

I lived in mine 4 years. It wasn’t easy. But so freeing. I love simplicity! I understand!

I did! I didn’t know I had this rare cancer but it was time to buy my little house. Then, I had to sell it to move to the “big” city. The rent here is depressing. I miss my tiny life. Yet, I know for my entire family, it was what I had to do. I’m only 6 minutes from the cancer center and hospital.
I’m a country girl at heart. But with my grown sons living away, and my aging parents, I had to do what was best for all of them.
