Adaptation

How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?

I don’t think a lot about Covid anymore. I do notice that I still keep the six foot space between myself and others. I strictly avoid anyone I know who is sick and crowds.

  1. Even though I do not like change I adapted ok I have been told that I take things in my stride I don’t if that’s true or not, maybe it is as I don’t let a lot of things bother me like when we had to wear a mask I just accepted it and did it, Tim had a cow over it till he was told he had to wear one while working.

Thanks for asking about how the Covid Pandemic has changed our lives. I admire the way you look after yourself and take good care to keep yourself healthy !!! My life has changed too ever since I used to Monitor the Covid Pandemic fervently around the world , by watching International News Channels on TV, and listening to International News Stations from around the world on Internet Radio. It was so sad to hear about so many people had got sick and died. The Global Lockdowns made it seem like The whole world was shutting down and coming to an end. I used to look forward to playing Bingo twice a week, and a nice dinner in a restaurant on a Saturday night, and enjoy going to plays. All of that came to end as I now live like a recluse, only going to the Supermarket and Dr.’s appointments, I still wear a mask most of the time in public and try to keep my distance from anyone I don’t know who is coughing, sneezing or has a runny nose or otherwise seems sick. It’s terrible that we have to live like this, but I do believe it’s the only way to protect yourself and those you love. All is not doom and gloom. I do try to entertain my self by doing things I enjoy like reading, exploring new apps and games, watching a little Television,  listening to the Radio, and spending time with my loved ones. I look forward to reading more comments from you and your readers on this topic and how we are all adapting to our new way of life .

    All The Best, Always !!!

    • You have a good outlook. I was too much affected since I am retired and love a quiet life. I wore masks constantly as a nurse so masks were no big change. The loss of life was terrible. I lost a couple of relatives. That will always be with us.
