My husband I are both retired RNs so we frequently spot errors in commercials. The other evening, one of those frequent “Help, I’ve fallen and can’t get up!” commercials came on.
Bud watched the poor woman intently for a moment and said, “I know damn good and well she didn’t fall. She didn’t piss her pants.”
He knows whereof he speaks, having worked on a physical rehab floor for more than twenty years.
This cracked me up

Two nurses in one household ~ you can experience from one another the healing energy you’ve both been giving others all your life! That makes me so happy.
Just think ~ if you hadn’t opened up your mouth and let divine spirit speak that day, and then followed up and actually became a nurse, you two probably would not have met…

Definitely not. Bud followed me into nursing a few years later.

For sure. My favorite patients to care for were prisoners. They were so appreciative. Never had a bad experience!

That’s hard to believe but it makes sense.

LOL! Well, all I can say is, I fell recently and I didn’t piss myself. But then I got up, so maybe that’s the determining factor. ;-)

Every time I go to the doctor now she asks if I’ve fallen. I lie like a dog!

LOL! That’s why I got up right away. I didn’t want someone calling an ambulance! 🤣
