Have you ever been camping?
I’ve been camping many times, as a child and adult. It’s wonderful to be outdoors away from all responsibility. Hubby and I tent camped for a while, then got a pop up camper. Eventually we moved up to a nice big camp trailer.

When I think of camping, I think staying in a tent often without any power, did that a couple of times as a child didn’t like it, did it a couple of times as a young adult still didn’t like it, will never do it again

It can be miserable. I love going in a camper, though. It’s air-conditioned with a nice bathroom and good bed.

I camped many times as a kid, we always slept in tents and it was not a favorite of mine. Me and abusive mother in same tent is never a good idea. We plan to buy a camper after we buy our next house. That I’m looking forward to.

We’re going all out, king-size bed, full shower, stove, and, refrigerator, and room for both dogs. We decided on one but I had to shut it down because buying a camper is not more important than moving. :)

The tariffs have caused the stock market to go crazy. Our 401K is bouncing up and down, so we’re putting the house off until the market levels off. :(

I feel that way about our president and the direction our country is going. Yet he says the economy is better than it is and blames what he wants on Biden. I was a Republican for many years after he was elected the first time, it was time for a big change. Got off track.

When did the Republican party go crazy. I’ve always been a Democrat but I don’t rember them always being like this.

The Republican Party went crazy when Trump was elected and the second term is beyond insane. I don’t see any strong Democrats out there pumping up the party and putting their voice out there as a leader. Dem’s don’t have a candidate now and that’s scary. :)

None! I don’t have the ability to move to another country and the few places I would consider all have their problems. Every country has issues but there are some places to get away from the crazy political bs. It also requires more money!

The super cold countries like Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Norway, and others in the area have governments run very differently however I could not live in cold weather. I’m sure there are a few countries but I’m an American and it will take much more for me to even think about leaving. America will turn around someday, and I’ll celebrate the day.

Congratulations. I know you’ll really love it. You will likely want to exchange camper king size mattress. We ordered a high quality foam mattress fom Amazon and cut it off with electric knife. Just as comfortable as home. Our dogs get excited when we start packing camper.

I am 76 years young and still love to go tent camping as much as I did when I joined the Boy Scouts as a child. The air you breathe, just the sights sounds and smell of the outdoors is a scent of life you can never find on main street. We love to use the county and state parks for most of our adventures.

We live ve the parks, too. We have a trip to Cypremort State Park on Vermillion Bay in Louisiana in June.

I haven’t been camping since I was about 12 years old ( centuries ago ) when a friend and I hitched our way to Beaumaris on Anglesey for a week.I enjoyed it but later in life decided I much preferred comfort to a sleeping bag. There is talk of trying it with my grandchildren but yi’ll have to jeep you posted on that. Hugs
