I have totally always felt this way myself. We make so much work out of our holidays, and yet more work to pay off the debts associated with them ~ and then there’s all the trauma of anticipation and disappointment! I’ve always thought that if we treated ordinary days a bit more like holidays, and holidays a bit more like ordinary days, things would be much more balanced.
