What alternative career paths have you considered or are interested in?
Had I chosen at a more expedient time, I would have done well to pursue a PhD in Literature. Literature and writing were my first loves. My initial degree was English Education. I was an abysmal teacher. At the time I entered nursing, I wanted no more to do with teaching. Now I write because I must.

It is one of the most important jobs in the world. I wish I’d been a good teacher. I did teach nursing later.

I am so glad you are writing. You are amazing at it and I can’t even image you ever being an abysmal teacher. Your kind heart and giving spirit I think would have made you simply incredible. Hugs my friend and I am happy you landed into nursing, it does fit the amazing person you are.

I was an awful teacher, but I loved ved nursing. Writing is the best. I find myself seeing situations more objectively after I write.

Before working fo local government I spent years running homes for children, mentally handicapped r the elderly. An alternative for me would have been nursing possibly specialising in geriatrics. Instead I decided to become one. Hugs
