Here you see my best friend in the LSU sweater I crocheted her. She is a rabid fan. She even dresses up in her LSU gear when she’s watching the game alone. We worked together for many years. I always knew it was going to be a good day when we worked together. She’s moved away now but we make a point to get together a few times a year. Even a bad day at work was a good day with her.

What a great friend you are. The sweater looks good on her, and you even did a hood!
I was able to crochet the belts we loved in the 70s to go with our hip-huggers, but I never advanced to anything else. I did love knitting, but I mostly made scarves for everyone in the family. I knitted a ton of squares one time. My aunt crocheted them together, put backing on the whole thing, and made a blanket.
